Share What You’re Learning
Early this month, I began a 3-day program that was focused on investing in myself. “Share what you’re learning.” was the statement made during the live one of those days and it stood out to me because as I was doing my devotion that morning, that exact same statement came to mind and I actually took my little dollar tree tablet and wrote down some things I was learning while reading the passage of Ephesians 1:1-14, as if I would be blogging it. So, that is exactly what I’ll be giving you, in hopes that it may be beneficial in some way.
As you read this, think about where you are and what you have. Ephesians 1:1-14 tells us about the blessings we have. I noticed that we get a lot of blessings up front, after you accept Christ as your Savior. It’s like, they just come with being a Christian. You know, similarly how being a wife comes with someone else providing for you and protecting you. I mean, once you’re married and leave the covering of your father, you get the covering of your husband. It’s like going from that small umbrella that you carried in college, the one you can just fold down and put on your driver side floor, in the little space between your seat and car door, to that big umbrella that you can hardly fit on your back seat when the kids are with you. Yeah, those kinds of blessings, they just come with the lifestyle.
This passage tells me that God has already done everything that He’s going do by giving us “every spiritual blessing”. We just have to figure out how to access those blessings that we’ve already been given. We’ve been given redemption because God always had a plan to save us. An inheritance which is the Holy Spirit.
That’s it, that’s what I learned from my reading today. So, here is a quick recap.
God has already done everything he is ever going to do for you by giving you every spiritual blessing.
The gift of redemption is a blessing because God always had a plan to save you. So if anyone fails to plan, I’m convinced they believe they’re better than God.
The gift of the Holy Spirit is your inheritance. Use it wisely.
If nothing, I hope you can understand what you get out of the deal. People like to know how they can benefit from something. Right?
