Be Proactive!!
My physical health has always been important to me. Growing up, my parents always had us playing sports or doing some sort of activity outdoors; whether it was riding horses, playing basketball, softball, kickball, or volleyball on Sundays with other people in “the alley”, or something. My mom even taught my siblings and I how to double-dutch jump rope. I enjoyed every minute of all the activities, and it carried over into school and afforded me opportunities that I am still grateful for today.
As an adult, physical activity and health is still very important to me, even more so that I am now a wife and mother in my early thirties. I have been through a season of planning a wedding. I know what it is like to want to look good for your bachelorette party and in your wedding dress. During the process of planning your wedding, it can be stressful, and I remember how hard I was in the gym. Working out helped me, not only in my physical appearance but more so mentally and emotionally. I want to help other ladies in this area, so I GOT CERTIFIED!!
I became a Certified Group Fitness Instructor with a partnership with Sweet Sweat to specifically assist “Brides-In-Training” (cute right) in my Bridal Bootcamp. I often say that people sleep on pre-marital counseling and being that I am a licensed counselor that specializes in marriage health, my Bridal Bootcamp will also incorporate therapy. Is that not the BEST THING EVER?! Just think about it, you get therapy to help you GET READY for marriage which means you are being proactive in learning how to correct problems before they begin, AND you get physically fit to help you look good in that dress! I think this is one of the best things since sliced bread, what do you think?
I’d love to hear from you!
Bye for now
